Removing and Installing Trim Panel For Luggage Compartment (Load space Cover) At the Lock Support

Technical values







Preliminary work

1. Remove centre trim panel for luggage compartment (load space cover).
2. Remove cover for rear lock support.
3. Remove rear part of C-pillar trim.

Removing trim panel for luggage compartment (load space cover) at the lock support












1. Unscrew fastening screws for side trim panel for rear luggage compartment at the left and right.
2. Disconnect plug connections.
2.1. Disconnect plug connection for plug socket (if fitted).
2.2. Disconnect plug connection for luggage compartment light at the left and right.
2.3. Disconnect plug connection for trailer hitch switch (if fitted).







3. Detach side trim panel for luggage compartment at the left and right and fold it forward.







4. Unclip fixing clips for wire harness.







5. Unscrew fastening screws for rear luggage compartment cover.







6. Unclip trim panel.

Installing trim panel for luggage compartment (load space cover) at the lock support

1. Connect plug connections.
1.1. Connect plug connection for plug socket (if fitted).
1.2. Fit plug connection for luggage compartment light at the left and right.
1.3. Connect plug connection for trailer hitch switch (if fitted).







2. Fold back side trim panel for luggage compartment at the left and right.







3. Screw in fastening screws on side trim panel for rear luggage compartment
- Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.) at the left and right.







4. Clip in rear luggage compartment cover.







5. Screw in fastening screws
- Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.).







6. Clip in wire harness.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear part of C-pillar trim.
2. Install cover for rear lock support.
3. Install centre trim panel for luggage compartment (load space cover).
