Information
If the control unit has to be replaced, the values/coding must be read out prior to removal using the 2nd generation PIWIS Tester 9818.

1. Switch off ignition and remove the remote control from the ignition lock.

Information
The door control unit is fitted into the door sub-frame -1- and engaged in the door sub-frame with a locking lug -2-.
Mounting principle for door control unit
If you are unclipping the door control unit for the first time, greater force will be required in order to release the locking lug -2- from the door sub-frame.
Press the control unit backwards against the door sub-frame while you are releasing it.
1. Release the electric plug connections -a- and pull them off the control unit.

2. Grip the control unit with your hand and release the lower catch for the control unit.

Installing rear door control unit
1. Engage the door control unit in the door sub-frame -arrow- and clip it in -arrow-.

2. Plug in and lock electric connectors.

2. If a new door control unit was installed, the values must be loaded into the new door control unit and the coding must be checked. -> 577355 Replacing door control unit 577355 Replacing Door Control Unit
