Removing compressor for level control system





Overview

1. Remove transverse strut for exhaust system.





Removing transverse strut

1.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.
1.2. Remove the transverse strut -2-.
2. Unclip electric plug connection -1- from the bracket -2-.

3. Disconnect electric connector -1-.





Pulling off connector

4. Remove suction hose.





Pulling off sleeve

4.1. Press the sleeve -1- down with the blade of a screwdriver.
4.2. Pull off sleeve -2-.
5. Remove pressure hoses.

5.1. Loosen cap screws -1- using a suitable tool.
5.2. Pull off pressure hoses.
6. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.





Removing compressor

7. Remove compressor -2-.

Installing compressor for level control system

1. The compressor is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. Always observe specified torque values for fastening screws in the same way as for cap screws: -> 4X00IN Tightening torques for levelling system [1][2]Specifications
