Preliminary work for ATF

1. Remove underbody cover.

WARNING
Hot fluid
* Danger of scalding


-> Let the fluid cool down.
-> Wear personal protective gear.

Information
Aligning vehicle for checking oil:
* Align the vehicle horizontally on a measuring platform
* Secure the vehicle to prevent it from rolling away

1. Raise the vehicle on a measuring platform in order to check the oil/make adjustments.
2. Place a drip pan underneath.
3. Open the oil drain plug and drain oil.

4. Screw in new oil drain plug. -> Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)+3 Nm (+2 ftlb.)

Information
Use only oil approved by Porsche.

5. Open the oil inspection plug -arrow- and fill in oil using manual metering pump WE 1372 until oil overflows.

6. Screw in oil inspection plug.

7. Start the engine.

* Press the brake pedal
* Shift the gear lever slowly through P-R-N-D three times

8. Read out the ATF temperature using PIWIS Tester II 9818 until the temperature is -> Temperature: 40 degrees C + 5 degrees C.

Menu structure:

8.1. Select PDK (Porsche Double Clutch) control unit
8.2. Submenu: Actual values/Input signals
8.3. Submenu: CAN output signals for transmission sump temperature

9. Move selector lever to position P.
10. Switch off engine and wait for about 2 minutes.
11. Open the oil inspection plug -arrow-.

12. Fill in oil using manual metering pump WE 1372 until oil overflows.
13. Screw in a new oil inspection plug -arrow-. -> Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)

Subsequent work for ATF

1. Install underbody cover.
