Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove rear door sub-frame. -> 583019 Removing and installing rear door sub-frame - section on "Removing" 583019 Removing and Installing Rear Door Sub-frame
2. Remove rear power window motor. -> 646119 Removing and installing rear power window motor - section on "Removing"

Installation position of rear door window

1. Slide the door window glass to its lower end position.

2. Loosen the door window glass.

2.1. Unscrew fastening screw -1-.
2.2. Lift the door window glass off the power windows mounting.
3. Guide the door window glass out of the window guide and remove it.

Installing rear door window

1. Insert the door window glass into the guide -2-.

2. Insert the door window glass into the power windows mounting.
3. Align the catches for the door window mounting.





Aligning door window glass

3.1. Roll the door window up fully.
3.2. Align the door window until it is parallel with the B-pillar trim and rear side window -A-.
3.3. Check that the catches are adjusted without tension and re-adjust them if necessary -B-.
4. Screw in fastening screw -1- => Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm (2.5 ftlb.).





Securing door window

Subsequent work

1. Install rear power window motor. -> 646119 Removing and installing rear power window motor - section on "Installing"
2. Install rear door sub-frame. -> 583019 Removing and installing rear door sub-frame - section on "Installing" 583019 Removing and Installing Rear Door Sub-frame
3. Adjust the rear door window (final stop). -> 646015 Adjusting rear door window- section on "Adjusting" Adjustments
