Installation position of rear lid seal

1. Remove rear shelf. -> 689619 Removing and installing sun blind for rear window 689619 Removing and installing sun blind for rear window
2. Pull rear lid seal off the sheetmetal flange.

1. Place seal in installation position.

1.1. Make sure that the gap -1- in the seal is centred at the top.
1.2. Make sure that the vent holes -2- in the seal are on the outside.
2. Press rear lid seal onto the sheetmetal flange.

3. Use pliers 9513
to press the seal on at the rounded areas.

4. Check to ensure that seal is fitted securely and is flush.
