Checking and topping up oil for final drive





Preliminary work for oil for final drive

1. Together with air suspension: Detach compressor and hang it to one side.
2. Remove heat shield on final drive.

WARNING
Hot fluid
* Danger of scalding

-> Let the fluid cool down.
-> Wear personal protective gear.

Information
* Secure vehicle to prevent it rolling away.
* To check transmission oil the vehicle must be horizontal.

1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -1-.

2. The fill level is correct if the oil reaches the lower edge of the inspection window. If this is not the case, fill up with oil.
3. Screw in oil inspection plug -1- with new sealing ring. -> Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)

Topping up oil for final drive

WARNING
Hot fluid
* Danger of scalding

-> Let the fluid cool down.
-> Wear personal protective gear.

1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -1-.

Information
Use only oil approved by Porsche.

2. Fill in oil until it overflows.
3. Screw in new oil inspection plug -1-. -> Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)

Subsequent work for oil for final drive

1. Install heat shield on final drive. -> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

2. Together with air suspension: Install the compressor.
