Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Preliminary work

1. Move right front wheel to the right.
2. Remove rear part of front right wheel housing liner. -> 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner - section on "Removing" Removal and Replacement

Removing pump for windscreen washer system

1. Remove clip on wire harness -1- and replace it if necessary.

2. Pull the pump -2- up -A- and remove it from the bracket.
3. Pull off hose.

3.1. Spread the boot -1-.
3.2. Pull off hose -2-. -A-
4. Release electric plug connection -1- for pump -a- and pull it off -A-.

5. Remove the pump.

Installing pump for windscreen washer system

1. Plug in electric plug connection -1- until it locks with an audible click. -A-

2. Connect the hose -2-. -B-
3. Clip the pump -1- into the bracket. -A-

4. Slide the pump -1- down into the rubber sleeve. -B-
5. Fit the clip -2- onto the tab on the tank. Use a new clip if necessary.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear part of front right wheel housing liner. -> 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner - section on "Installing" Removal and Replacement
