Remove rear roof trim panel. => 708519 Removing and installing rear roof trim panel - section on "Removing"

Removing cover for rear lock support





Installation position of cover for lock support

1. Screw out rubber adjustment stop.
1.1. Screw out rubber adjustment stop -1- at the left and right.

2. Remove cover for rear lock support.
2.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and spring washers -2- from the cover for the rear lock support -3- and remove cover for rear lock support -3- in an upward direction.

Installing cover for rear lock support

1. Install cover for rear lock support.
1.1. Position cover for rear lock support -3- and secure with the fastening screws -1- and spring washers -2-. => Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)

2. Screw in rubber adjustment stop.
2.1. Screw in rubber adjustment stop -1- at the left and right.

3. Adjust rear window cover
3.1. Adjust the height of the rear window cover with respect to the rear centre panel by screwing the rubber adjustment stops -1- at the left and right in or out as required. => Gap dimension: 6 mm+/-1 mm => 5000IN Diagram - body gap dimensions

Subsequent work

Install rear roof trim panel. => 708519 Removing and installing rear roof trim panel - section on "Installing"
