Technical values






Preliminary work

1. Remove rear wheel.
Socket-wrench insert P300 should be used to avoid damaging the rims.
=> 44051900 Removing and installing wheel.
2. Remove rear silencer.
=> 263319 Removing and installing rear silencer.
3. Remove upper part of heat shield.
=> 261219 Removing and installing heat shield.
3.1. Unscrew two M6 x 12 outer Torx screws (socket insert E10) and remove heat shield.

1. Disconnect cable plug -1- by pressing firmly on the locking lug and sliding the plug upwards.
1.1. Unscrew inner Torx screw (M6 x 16) -2- and pull out ignition rod module.

Installation

Installing ignition rod module

1. Connect ignition rod module.
1.1. Fit inner Torx screw (M6 x 16) -2- and tighten to the prescribed tightening torque.
1.2. Connect cable plug -1-. When doing so, make sure you hear it latching into place and check that it is firmly seated by pushing it up.

Subsequent work

1. Install upper part of heat shield.
=> 261219 Removing and installing heat shield.
1.1. Fit heat shield and screw in and tighten two M6 x 12 outer Torx screws (socket insert E10).
=> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
2. Install rear silencer.
=> 263319 Removing and installing rear silencer.
3. Mount rear wheel.
Socket-wrench insert P300 should be used to avoid damaging the rims.
