Removing servo motor for emergency release





Installation position shown on the 911

1. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
2. Release electric connector -A- and unplug it at the servo motor.

3. Unscrew both fastening screws -1-.

4. Turn the servo motor and disengage the retaining pin from the cable at the servo motor.

5. Remove servo motor.

Installing servo motor for emergency release

1. Engage the cable retaining pin at the servo motor and clip it in.

2. Position servo motor and secure with the fastening screws. => Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.2 ftlb.)

3. Push electric plug onto the servo motor until it is felt to engage.
