Preliminary work

1. Remove accessories close to the sound absorber (insulation).

Information

- The sound absorbers (insulation) must always be replaced if they are damaged or cracked.

2. Remove sound absorber (insulation).
3. Remove all adhesive residue on the body/accessories and clean with cleaning solution.

Installing insulation for rear wheel housing

Information

The fastening points must remain accessible when positioning the sound absorbers (insulation).

1. Pull off protective film and stick on insulation for rear wheel housing -1- in the marked area.

2. Heat up insulation for rear wheel housing -1- using a Leister Elektron hot-air gun; see Tools and Equipment00000 and press on securely using a rubber roller.

The fastening points must remain accessible when positioning the sound absorbers (insulation).

1. Insert sound absorber for rear wheel housing -1-.
