Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Drain coolant. -> 193817 Draining and filling coolant - Turbo (includes bleeding the system) Service and Repair
2. Remove air cleaner. -> 242519 Removing and installing air cleaner housing - Turbo Service and Repair
3. Release drive belt. -> 137819 Removing and installing drive belt - Turbo Service and Repair
4. Remove rear apron. -> 635519 Removing and installing rear apron
5. Remove charge-air cooler. -> 214319 Removing and installing charge-air cooler
6. Remove rear silencer. -> 263319 Removing and installing rear silencer - Turbo Service and Repair

Removal

Removing coolant regulator

1. Loosen spring band clamp -4- and pull off coolant hose -3-.





Coolant breather hose and engine supply hose

2. Unscrew M6 x 40 Torx screw -3-.
3. Unscrew three M6 x 50 Torx screws -1-.

4. Turn coolant regulator housing -1- to the right and remove coolant regulator -2-.

Installation

1. Fit coolant regulator with seals -2- and position coolant regulator housing -1-.

2. Screw in three Torx screws (M6 x 50) -1- and tighten to the prescribed tightening torque.
3. Screw in Torx screw (M6 x 40) -3- and tighten to the prescribed tightening torque.

4. Push on coolant hose -3- and fasten the spring band clamp -4-.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear silencer. -> 263319 Removing and installing rear silencer - Turbo Service and Repair
2. Install charge-air cooler. -> 214319 Removing and installing charge-air cooler
3. Install rear apron. -> 635519 Removing and installing rear apron
4. Fit drive belt. -> 137819 Removing and installing drive belt - Turbo Service and Repair
5. Install air cleaner. -> 242519 Removing and installing air cleaner housing - Turbo Service and Repair
6. Fill in coolant and bleed the cooling system. -> 193817 Draining and filling coolant - Turbo (includes bleeding the system) Service and Repair
