Preliminary work

1. Remove accessories close to the sound absorber (insulation).

Information

- The sound absorbers (insulation) must always be replaced if they are damaged or cracked.

2. Remove sound absorber (insulation).
3. Remove all adhesive residue on the body/accessories and clean with cleaning solution.

The fastening points must remain accessible when positioning the sound absorbers (insulation).

1. Pull off protective film and stick insulation for floorpan assembly -1- on the body.

2. Heat up insulation for floorpan assembly -1- using a Leister Elektron hot-air gun; see Tools and Equipment00000 and press on securely using a rubber roller.

Information

The fastening points must remain accessible when positioning the sound absorbers (insulation).

1. Insert sound absorber for footwell -1- into the cut-out in the floor covering and align it.
