Preliminary work

1. Remove the left and right cover on the centre console. -> 681419 Removing and installing centre console cover - section on "Removing" 681419 Removing and installing centre console cover
2. Move gearshift lever to the rear position.
3. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

The switch console is clipped into the centre console.





Installation diagram for the 911

1. Press in the side retaining bars on the switch console at the left and right using a screwdriver -1- and pull switch console out of its installation slot.

2. Release electric connectors and pull them off the switch console. The number of connectors can vary, depending on equipment.

1. Push electric connectors onto the switch console until the connectors engage securely. The number of connectors can vary, depending on equipment.
2. Slide the switch console into the centre console until the switch console engages securely.
