Preliminary work

Remove sliding-roof panel. -> 604019 Removing and installing sliding-roof panel - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing seal for sliding roof





Removing seal

1. Pull the seal -1- out of the glass panel at any position.
2. Pull off the seal all the way around the glass panel.

Installing seal for sliding roof





Fitting seal

1. Position the seal.
1.1. Align the gap in the seal -1- with the rear edge of the glass panel.
1.2. Place the seal loosely around the glass panel.
2. Fit the seal.
2.1. On the front of the panel, press the seal into the panel, starting from the centre.
2.2. Insert the seal all the way around.
2.3. Insert the seal without tension at the gap -1-.

Subsequent work

Install sliding-roof panel. -> 604019 Removing and installing sliding-roof panel - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
