Preliminary work

1. Remove left wheel.-> 440519 Removing and installing wheel - section on "Removing" Removal and Replacement
2. Remove left wheel housing liner. -> 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
3. Drain coolant. -> 193817 Draining and filling in coolant (includes bleeding) Service and Repair

Removing pump valve unit





Installation position of pump valve unit

1. Unscrew two fastening screws -1- on the body.

2. Unscrew one fastening nut -2- on the bracket for the lines on the body.

3. Release and unplug electric plug connection -3- for the pump valve unit.

4. Release and unplug electric plug connection -4- for the pump valve unit.

5. Loosen two clamps -5- on the hoses and pull out the hoses. Use a suitable container to collect emerging coolant.





Removing pump valve unit

6. Unscrew two fastening screws -6- on the brackets.
7. Pull the pump valve unit -7- out of the bracket -a- and remove it.

Installing pump valve unit

The pump valve unit is installed in reverse order to removal.

Subsequent work

1. Install left wheel housing liner. -> 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
2. Install left wheel. -> 440519 Removing and installing wheel - section on "Installing" Removal and Replacement
3. Fill in coolant. -> 193817 Draining and filling in coolant (includes bleeding) Service and Repair
