Preliminary work

1. Drain the cooling system. -> 193817 Draining and filling coolant (includes bleeding) Service and Repair
2. Disconnect the two coolant hoses at the sides and set them aside. => Coolant hoses

1. Unscrew hexagon-head bolts. -20-
2. Remove cover on thermostat insert. -19-
3. Sealing ring must always be replaced. -9-
4. Replace the thermostat insert. -21-

Installing

1. Replace sealing ring.
2. Assemble in reverse order.

Subsequent work

1. Carry out the remaining work.
2. Fill the cooling system. -> 193817 Draining and filling coolant (includes bleeding) Service and Repair
