1. Remove engine compartment covers at the right -> 700219 Removing and installing front cover (engine compartment).

Removing exhaust manifold

Removing exhaust manifold for cylinder 1-3 (front)

1. Unscrew fastening screw securing heat shield to intake-air distributor at the top and remove heat shield.
2. Unscrew fastening nuts -right arrows- used to secure the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold for cylinders 1-3.

3. Unscrew fastening nuts -right arrow- on the exhaust manifold for cylinders 1-3.

4. Press exhaust manifold back and remove it.

Removing exhaust manifold, cylinders 4-6 (rear)

1. Unscrew fastening screw securing heat shield to intake-air distributor at the top and remove heat shield.
2. Unscrew fastening nuts -left arrows- used to secure the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold for cylinders 4-6.

3. Unscrew fastening nuts -arrows- on the exhaust manifolds.

4. Press exhaust manifold for cylinders 1-3 back slightly.
Press exhaust manifold for cylinders 4-6 back slightly and remove it.

Installing exhaust manifold

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
1.1. Replace all fastening nuts that were loosened.
1.2. Replace seals on connections that were opened.

Subsequent work

1. Install engine compartment cover at the front right.
