Remove the front or rear apron as required. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Removing" or -> 635519 Removing and installing rear apron - section on "Removing"

Removing sensor for ParkAssist

Information

If one or more sensors must be replaced or repainted:

- Follow the painting specifications in the Paint Manual.

1. Pull off connector on sensor for ParkAssist.
1.1. Pull locking lugs apart -arrows A- and remove sensor for ParkAssist -1- ( -arrow B- ).
1.2. Release connector -2- ( -arrow C- ) and pull it off sensor for ParkAssist -1- ( -arrow D- ).

Installing sensor for ParkAssist

1. Plug in connector on sensor for ParkAssist.
1.1. Plug in connector -2- on sensor for ParkAssist -1- ( -arrow A- ) until the connector -2- engages securely.
1.2. Press sensor for ParkAssist -1- into the mounting in the rear apron -arrow B- until the locking lugs engage securely.

Subsequent work

Install the front or rear apron as required. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Installing" or -> 635519 Removing and installing rear apron - section on "Installing"
