Removing front speed sensor





Speed sensor (shown as an example in illustration)

1. Release electric plug connection -1- from the speed sensor -a- and pull it off -A-.

2. Loosen fastening screw -3- for the speed sensor.
3. Pull the speed sensor out of the wheel carrier -4- ( -B- ).

Installing front speed sensor

Information

- The speed sensor must be inserted using Optitemp (Optitemp LG2, 25-ml spray can available under Part No. 000.043.204.21).

- The bore for mounting the speed sensor must be free of dirt.

- Observe correct tightening torques.

1. Insert speed sensor -1- into the wheel carrier -2-.





Fitting front speed sensor

2. Fit fastening screw -3- for the speed sensor. -> 4X00IN Tightening torques for anti-lock brake system (ABS) 4X00IN Tightening torques for anti-lock brake system (ABS)
3. Plug in electric plug connection -4- ( -A- ) and lock it -a-.
