Preliminary work

Removing ignition starter switch

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.





Installation position of ignition starter switch

1. Screw off union nut -1- using special tool key 9800 and remove if from the ignition starter switch -B-.

2. Press ignition starter switch inwards -C- and remove in a downward direction.
3. Release electric connector -a- and pull it off the ignition starter switch.

Installing ignition starter switch

1. Connect plug on ignition starter switch until it clicks into place.

2. Position ignition starter switch in the dashboard from behind -D-. Position union nut -1- and slide it over the ignition starter switch. Pay attention to the fitted shape. Use special tool key 9800 to tighten the union nut -1- to => Tightening torque: 1.6 Nm (1 ftlb.).
