Preliminary work

1. Remove lower part of front lid lock. -> 551719 Removing and installing lower part of front lid lock - section on "Removing" 551719 Removing and Installing Lower Part of Front Lid Lock

Removing microswitch for front lid lock

1. Unclip electric plug connection -1- from lock support.

2. Release electric plug connection from the microswitch -A- and disconnect it.

3. Pull lid lock up between the lock carrier and lock support.
4. Insert a screwdriver into the recess in the lower part of the lid lock -A- and detach the microswitch -1- ( -B- ).

5. Remove microswitch.

Installing microswitch for front lid lock

The microswitch for the front lid lock is installed in reverse order to removal.

Subsequent work

1. Install lower part of front lid lock. -> 551719 Removing and installing lower part of front lid lock - section on "Installing" 551719 Removing and Installing Lower Part of Front Lid Lock
