Removing glove compartment lock

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- from the handle -3- in the glove compartment lid -2-.

2. Remove handle -3- from glove compartment lid -2-.

NOTICE

Lock cylinder removed and installed incorrectly

- Risk of damage to lock cylinder

-> Do not take the ignition key out of the lock cylinder during removal and installation. Otherwise, the spring-loaded locking elements will spring out of the lock cylinder.

3. Insert ignition key -5- fully into the lock cylinder. This locks the locking elements in the lock cylinder.

4. Press three catches -6- of the lock cylinder -4- outwards -A-.
5. Pull lock cylinder -4- with ignition key -5- out of the handle -3-.

Installing glove compartment lock

The glove compartment lock is installed in reverse order to removal.
