Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove padding for front seat. -> 741019 Removing and installing padding for front seat - section on "Removing" 741019 Removing and Installing Padding For Front Seat

Removing front seat-surface extension

1. Pull electric plug connection -1- off the motor -A-.

2. Unscrew four fastening screws -2- on the seat-surface extension.
3. Remove seat-surface extension -3- and motor in an upward direction -B-.

Installing front seat-surface extension

1. Insert bracket -1- for control unit for memory seat adjustment into the seat frame -A-.

2. Insert seat-surface extension -3- into the seat frame -B-.

3. Tighten four fastening screws -2- on the seat-surface extension to => Tightening torque: 7.5 Nm (5.5 ftlb.)+/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.).
4. Plug in electric plug connection -1- ( -B- ).

Subsequent work

1. Install padding for front seat. -> 741019 Removing and installing padding for front seat - section on "Installing" 741019 Removing and Installing Padding For Front Seat
