Preliminary work

1. Remove padding for front seat. -> 741019 Removing and installing padding for front seat - section on "Removing" 741019 Removing and Installing Padding For Front Seat

Removing motor for rear vertical adjustment





Installation position of motor for rear vertical adjustment

1. Release electric plug connection on motor for rear vertical adjustment -1- and pull it off -A-.





Unplugging connector from motor

2. Unscrew fastening screw -2- on the threaded spindle.

3. Unscrew two fastening screws -3- on the seat shell at the rear.

4. Unscrew two fastening screws -4- on the seat shell.
5. Lift up the seat shell -5- ( -B- ).

6. Unscrew two fastening screws -6- on the bracket for the motor.

Installing motor for rear vertical adjustment

1. Lift up the seat shell -5- ( -B- ).

2. Screw in two fastening screws -6- on the bracket for the motor.
3. Screw in two fastening screws -3- on the seat shell at the rear.





Securing seat shell

4. Screw in two fastening screws -4- on the seat shell.
5. Screw in fastening screw -2- on the threaded spindle.

6. Plug in electric plug connection -1- ( -A- ) until the connector engages securely.

Subsequent work

1. Install padding for front seat. -> 741019 Removing and installing padding for front seat - section on "Installing" 741019 Removing and Installing Padding For Front Seat
