Installation position of exhaust pipe for auxiliary heating

Removing and installing exhaust pipe

Preliminary work

1. Remove the complete auxiliary heating system. -> 822019 Removing and installing complete heater - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing exhaust pipe

CAUTION

Hot components

- Risk of burns

-> Let hot components cool down.
-> Wear personal protective gear.

1. Loosen and remove screw -1- on the auxiliary heater holder.

2. Loosen fastening clamp -1- on auxiliary heater housing.





Mounting for exhaust pipe on heater

3. Pull off exhaust pipe on auxiliary heater connection and carefully remove it.

Installing exhaust pipe

1. Installation is performed in reverse order.





Subsequent work

1. Install the complete auxiliary heating system. -> 822019 Removing and installing complete heater - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
