Preliminary work

Removing compass

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.





Installation position of compass

1. Unscrew two fastening screws -1- and remove compass from the trim panel.





Removing compass

2. Unplug electric connector on the compass.

Installing compass

1. The compass is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. Secure the compass with two fastening screws.

Subsequent work

1. Install loudspeaker trim panel at the centre. -> 709019 Removing and installing loudspeaker trim panel - section on "Installing" 709019 Removing and installing loudspeaker trim panel
