1. Carefully unscrew oxygen sensors downstream of catalytic converter at the primary catalytic converter. -1-

Information

After installing the oxygen sensor cables, use the Porsche System Tester to check that the oxygen sensors have not been interchanged. Release the oxygen sensor cables so that the cables can turn when you unscrew or screw in the sensor. Otherwise, the Check Engine light will come on and there may be a change in the vehicle's exhaust gas behaviour.

1. Grease thread of oxygen sensors with Optimoly Paste MF (000 043 207 07) before fitting them.
Make sure that the paste does not get into the slits in the sensor body.
2. Carefully screw in oxygen sensors at the primary catalytic converter. -1-

3. Tighten oxygen sensor using a special tool (e.g. open-end/ring wrench Nr.98 ). => Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 ftlb.)+/-5 Nm (+/-3.5 ftlb.)
