Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove design cover on throttle valve. -> 108319 Removing and installing engine cover - section on "Removing" 108319 Removing and installing engine cover (design cover).

Naturally-aspirated engines =>
2. Remove front cover (engine compartment). -> 700219 Removing and installing front cover (engine compartment) - section on "Removing"

Removing cowl for throttle housing (Y-pipe)

Turbo engines =>
1. On turbo engine: Disconnect boost pressure sensor. -1- (ignore 2 and 3)

2. Lever off clip under the Y-pipe with a screwdriver. -arrow-

3. Detach fitted control line -1- under the Y-pipe.





Removing Y-pipe

4. Loosen screw-type clamps -2- between the Y pipe and the pressure pipe.
5. Release both locking pins -3- on the Y-pipe in a clockwise direction and pull them off. Pull Y-pipe off the throttle housing.

Naturally-aspirated engines =>
6. Loosen screw-type clamp -1- on the throttle housing.

7. Release the locking pins -2- of the Y-pipe on both sides in a clockwise direction and pull them off.

Installing cowl for throttle housing (Y-pipe)

- The components are installed in reverse order to removal.
- Screw-type clamps => Tightening torque: 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.)
- The pressure and intake pipes must be checked to ensure they are seated securely after being fitted (check by pulling on the pipes).

Subsequent work

1. Install design cover on throttle valve. -> 108319 Removing and installing engine cover - section on "Installing" 108319 Removing and installing engine cover (design cover).

Naturally-aspirated engines =>
2. Install front trim (engine compartment). -> 700219 Removing and installing front trim (engine compartment) - section on "Installing"
