Preliminary work

1. Loosen air box in front of the throttle housing. -> 243519 Removing and installing air box for throttle housing (intake ports upstream of throttle valve) 243519 Removing and installing cowl for throttle housing (Y-pipe)

1. Release and unplug electric plug connection on the throttle housing, then pull the cable out of the clip.
2. Loosen the four screws on the throttle housing -arrows- and remove throttle housing.

3. Check the condition of the sealing ring. Replace the sealing ring if necessary => Sealing ring on throttle housing.

Installing throttle housing

Information

Intake module





1. Check the condition of the sealing ring. Replace the sealing ring if necessary => Sealing ring on throttle housing.

2. Place throttle housing in installation position and fit it. Insert and screw in four screws -arrows-.

3. Plug in electric plug connection on the throttle housing and fit cable into the clip.

Subsequent work

Information

- The new throttle valve must be taught when replacing the throttle valve.

- Conditions: The vehicle is stationary, engine is off, engine temperature is between 5 and 100°C, intake air temperature is more than 5°C, battery voltage is at least 9 volts

- After replacing the throttle valve, switch on the ignition - but do not press the accelerator pedal - and wait for one minute.
