Overview of torque converter

1. Using the bolt adapter from the slide hammer kit 168, screw conical screw into the sealing ring -direction of arrow-.





Preliminary work for removing sealing ring

WARNING

Hot fluid

- Danger of scalding

-> Let the fluid cool down.
-> Wear personal protective gear.

2. Screw on slide hammer from slide hammer kit 168 and remove sealing ring.

Overview of torque converter

1. Fit a new sealing ring on special tool thrust piece T40134.
2. Drive in sealing ring with special tool -arrow- until the assembly sleeve is flush with the transmission housing.
