Preliminary work

Remove trim panel for convertible top rest/engine compartment lid. -> 700819 Removing and installing trim panel for convertible top rest - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing rear cover

Removing trim for the rear.





Installation position for rear cover

1. Open service tray -1-.





Loosening cover

2. Unscrew fastening screws -2- in area of service tray -1-.
3. Unclip cover upwards -1-.

4. Check clamps -2- and fastening nuts -3- and replace if necessary.

Installation position for rear cover

1. Position cover -1- on body and press in until clamps engage -2-.

2. Align cover -3- with service tray -1- and screw down with fastening screws -2-.

3. Close service tray -1-.
