Wheels and Tires

Wheels and Tires

General Information

The Panamera models come with newly developed 18 and 19-inch wheels or optional 20-inch wheels in a unique design. During the development of each of these wheels, huge emphasis was placed on performance through lightweight construction combined with an attractive unique design. Axle-specific wheel sizes for each of the Panamera models were optimized with regard to rim width and rim offset (RO). In addition, all Panamera models feature mixed tires, i.e. different tire width on front and rear axle. By introducing these measures, it was possible to adapt the tyres to suit the requirements of each axle on the vehicle, thereby achieving optimal traction, driving stability and steering control while ensuring the greatest possible comfort. Since all tires have been specially adapted to the Panamera, they all have the usual Porsche N specifications.

Tire Pressure

The Panamera can be driven with various tire pressures. A distinction is made between:
1. Standard tire pressure for summer/winter and all-season tires, with partial or full vehicle load, up to the maximum speed.
2. Comfort tire pressure for summer tires up to 170 mph (270 km/h), with full or partial vehicle load.
3. Comfort tire pressure for summer/winter and all-season tires up to 100 mph (160 km/h), with partial or full vehicle load.

For details of tire pressure, refer to the Owner's Manual, door pillar decal or Workshop Data.

Run-flat Systems

All the Panamera models come as standard with a space-saving tire repair system comprising tire sealing compound and an electric pneumatic compressor.

Wheels/tires - V6

The standard 18-inch Panamera wheels ensure that the Panamera models are at home on any road. These wheels are also manufactured using lightweight flow-forming technology to reduce unsprung masses.

The mixed tires permit very good traction and handling in combination with a high level of driving comfort.

Sizes: Front axle - 8J x 18" RO59, 245/50 ZR18 (100Y)
Rear axle - 9J x 18" RO53, 275/45 ZR18 (103Y)

Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM)

The Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system is standard equipment on all Panamera models.
