Preliminary work

1. Remove door sub-frame. -> 573019 Removing and installing front door sub-frame - section on "Removing" 573019 Removing and Installing Front Door Sub-Frame

Removing front window shaft seal

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.

2. Lift window shaft seal up and remove it.

Installing window shaft seal

Information

- When installing the window shaft seal, slide the rubber seal for the front door under the window shaft seal.

- The cut-out on the rubber seal for the front door must follow the contours of the front face of the window shaft seal.

1. Place window shaft seal in installation position.

2. Screw in fastening screws for the window shaft seal => Tightening torque: 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.).

Subsequent work

1. Install door sub-frame. -> 573019 Removing and installing front door sub-frame - section on "Installing" 573019 Removing and Installing Front Door Sub-Frame
