Preliminary work

Detaching heater with holder

1. Pull off electric push-on connectors.

1.1. Release lock -a-.
1.2. Pull off connector -A-.
2. Detach flexi-pipe from exhaust pipe.

2.1. Screw on fastening screw -1- for clamp.
2.2. Pull off flexi-pipe -2- with clamp from exhaust pipe.

WARNING

Emerging fuel

- Risk of fire

-> Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.
-> Collect emerging fuel, absorb it if necessary with a suitable binding material and dispose of properly.
-> Use suction to remove ignitable vapours.
-> Attach warning sign to vehicle in a clearly visible position.

3. Disconnect fuel line.

3.1. Open clamp -1- using a suitable pair of pliers.
3.2. Pull fuel hose -2- off the line.
4. Screw off fastening nuts -1-.

5. Pull out heater with holder in direction of travel.

Detaching holder from heater

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.

2. Cut both tie-wraps from the intake muffler.

3. Remove holder.

1. Place holder onto heater.

2. Tighten fastening nuts -1-.
3. Secure intake muffler using new tie-wraps.

4. Remove retaining wire.

Information

- Reused clamps do not guarantee a firm seating of the fuel line.

- Always dispose of the removed clamps.

- Always use new clamps when installing.

1. Push heater with holder under the wing against the direction of travel.

2. Insert retaining pin into the sleeve.
3. Secure flexi-pipe onto exhaust pipe.

3.1. Pull flexi-pipe -2- over the exhaust pipe.
3.2. Position and tighten screw-type clamp -1-.
4. Slide clips over the retaining pins.

5. Tighten fastening nuts -2-.
6. Assemble fuel line.

6.1. Slide new clamps -1- over the fuel line.
6.2. Slide fuel hose -2- over the line.
6.3. Place clamp -1- in position and clamp it in place using a suitable pair of pliers.
7. Connect the electric connectors -1- until they engage securely.
