Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

WM 877819 Removing and installing blower regulator

Preliminary work

1. Remove cover in footwell on the passenger's side. -> 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard - section on "Removing" 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard
2. Remove footwell outlet vent on the passenger's side.

Installation position

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect remote control.
2. Release and pull off electric plug connection -1- on the blower regulator -arrow-.

3. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove blower regulator -2- ( -arrow B- ).

Installing blower regulator

1. Position blower regulator -2- on the hot-air/fresh-air inlet box -arrow A- and screw in fastening screws -1-.

2. Plug in electric plug connection -1- on the blower regulator -arrow- until it engages securely.

Subsequent work

1. Install footwell outlet vent on the passenger's side.
2. Install cover in footwell on the passenger's side. -> 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard - section on "Installing" 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard
