Diagnosis information - DME (DFI)

Cruise control operating lever

NOTE:
- The signals from the steering wheel electronics are sent via the CAN Comfort to the gateway and are sent from there via the CAN Drive to the DME (DFI) control unit.
- The fault code is entered in the DME (DFI) control unit if the steering wheel electronics has detected an internal fault.
- The cruise control is not operational.

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage between 10 V and 16 V
- Ignition switched on

Possible fault causes
- Cruise control switch (steering wheel electronics) faulty
