Diagnosis information - DME (DFI)

Internal voltage supply (R/C)

NOTE: This fault may be entered if the power supply of the DME (DFI) control unit is interrupted within the first 45 seconds after ignition off (discharge time of R/C) and is then immediately restored and the ignition is switched on.

Diagnostic conditions
- Vehicle voltage more than 11 V
- Ignition on, then:
- Switch off ignition,
- then switch on ignition after approx. 1 minute

Possible fault causes
- Power supply of DME (DFI) control unit was interrupted
(see NOTE)
- R/C component in DME (DFI) control unit faulty
