Intake temperature sensor

The control unit must be active in order to test internal function sequences and diagnosable inputs/outputs.
In the event of a fault, check whether the fault is permanently >present<. To perform the check, erase the fault memory, meet the diagnostic conditions and read out the fault memory again.

NOTE:
- The boost pressure sensor and the intake air temperature sensor are combined in a single component and cannot be replaced individually.
- The dynamic response will be reduced, torque limitation
- Intake air temperature sensor, fixed value is displayed
- Incorrectly coded auxiliary heater

Diagnostic conditions
- Idling

Possible fault causes
- Limit exceeded
- Below limit value
- Signal implausible
- faulty
