P07200

Diagnostic information - Tiptronic

P0715 Drive shaft speed inductive sensor

NOTE: The ignition must be switched off and then switched on again in order to display a fault message in the instrument cluster.

Diagnostic conditions
The control unit must be active in order to test internal function sequences and diagnosable inputs/outputs.
In the event of a fault, check whether the fault is permanently >present<. To perform the check, erase the fault memory, meet the diagnostic conditions and read out the fault memory again.
- Voltage > 10.2 V and < 15.5 V
- Ignition on
- Tiptronic control unit, internal function test
- Brake not actuated
- No faults stored for DME control unit
- Engine runs without malfunctions, engine speed > 300 rpm

Possible fault causes
