Diagnosis information - Control unit DME (DFI)

Throttle potentiometer 2 implausible

Diagnostic conditions
- Engine running
- if fault has been previously detected in the system P2122 or P2123 (Throttle potentiometer 2)

Possible fault causes
- Loose contact or corrosion on connectors or lines
- Short circuit to B+/ground/between lines or open circuit in the lines (Potentiometer)
- Throttle adjusting unit Faulty

Fault setting condition(s)
- Throttle potentiometer 2 (measured) - Mass air flow (calculated)
-->Deviation too high

Fault effects
The vehicle is located in the emergency operation mode, ie The motor rotates at 1200 to 1800 1/min.
