Cold Start Injector: Description and Operation

The cold start injector is located near the throttle plate and is designed to enrich the air/fuel mixture by injecting a quantity of fuel into the intake manifold. The cold start injector will operate only when the starter is activated and only when the contacts of the thermo time switch are closed.
