Renix Throttle Body Fuel Injection (TBFI), Early Type System

1. Remove control unit from vehicle if it will be exposed to temperatures of 175°F or higher.
2. Never start engine if battery connections are loose.
3. Never start engine when a battery fast charger is attached to engine.
4. Always disconnect battery terminals from battery when using a booster-charger to charge battery.
5. Never start any diagnosis or repair of the fuel injection system unless the ignition system has been thoroughly checked.
6. Whenever using an ohmmeter, ensure ignition switch is in Off position to avoid subjecting ohmmeter to live circuit.
7. Before attempting to troubleshoot system, ensure that there are no air leaks in intake or exhaust systems upstream of catalytic converter.
8. Never connect or disconnect any component without turning off ignition system.
