With APC


1. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Connect a CO meter to the exhaust.
2. Disconnect the pressure line from the throttle housing and connect a charging pressure gauge and a cooling system pressure tester to the hose. Plug off the port to the throttle housing.
3. Increase the pressure to 8.6 psi (0.6 bar). The CO reading should increase to approximately 1-6%.
4. Return the pressure line to its original position.

5. Disconnect the control pressure line from the fuel distributor and connect a pressure test gauge with a shutoff valve between the fuel distributor and the warm-up regulator line, Fig. 37.
6. Disconnect the line from the throttle housing and connect a charging pressure gauge and a cooling system tester to the hose. Plug the fitting on the throttle housing.
7. With the engine running, increase the pressure on the line to 8.6 psi (0.6 bar).

8. Ensure the control pressure adjusts according to Fig. 38.
