Without APC
1. Warm the engine to normal operating temperature. Connect a CO meter to the exhaust.
2. With the engine running, disconnect the pressure line from the throttle housing and connect a charging pressure gauge and a cooling system tester to the to the hose. Plug the opening to the throttle housing.
3. Increase the pressure to 11.6 psi (0.80 bar), adjusting the pressure until it has stabilized.
4. Ensure the CO reading has increased to 4-6%.
5. Disconnect the cooling system tester and check to see that the CO reading returns to its original value.
6. Activate the throttle switch actuator by pushing in on the contact point.
7. Ensure the CO reading increases to 4-6%.
8. Return the pressure line to its original position.
