Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Before testing of the fuel injection system is started, it must first be established that there are no mechanical faults in the engine and that the ignition system is functioning properly. The entire work area must be kept clean during the repair procedures in order to prevent contaminating the fuel system.
There is a high danger of fire or explosion because of the atomized fuel present during this test. Ensure the test is done in a well ventilated area and that there are no open flames or lit cigarettes present.
