Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Description and Operation
Main RelayThe relay forms part of the fuel system and is controlled by the LH control module. The LH system activates the main relay when the ignition is switched on and for a certain length of time after it is switched off.
The main relay supplies power to the ignition discharge module and, on M91-, the DI/APC control module as well. Spark plug burn-off when the ignition has been switched off is made possible with this latter function.
