Operation
Rear fog lights are fitted only to cars for the SE, FI, EU and GB markets. The rear fog lights cannot be switched on unless the ignition switch is in the parked or drive position.

The supply is taken from the ignition switch to light switch 10. This must be in position 2 before the rear fog lights can be switched on (headlamps on full or dipped beam). The supply is then run to rear fog light switch 161 across fuse 32.

When the switch for the rear fog lights is depressed, both rear fog lights 33 and warning lamp 47N in the combined instrument will light up.

When the switch is depressed, the bulb built into the button will be energized and will light up with full intensity.

The supply to rear fog lights of a trailer is connected across connector 258.

Fault-tracing hints
1. Check fuse 32 and check that the supply to it is live.
2. Check the bulbs and check that the supply to them is live. Check the earthing at each bulb.
3. Check the wiring.
