Operation
Turbo models with Automatic Climate Control (ACC) are equipped with fans in the rear doors. These fans are designed to increase the air circulation in the rear of the interior.

The fans are supplied from fuse 3 when the ignition switch is in the drive position.

The fans can be switched on and off by means of switch 246, which is located in the centre console. This switch has three positions: The fans are switched off when the switch is in the centre position, and one fan speed is provided in each of the other two positions. When the switch is set to the "LOW" position, the fans are supplied across resistor 319, 50 the fans run at lower speed. Fan 247 is fitted in the left-hand rear door, and fan 248 in the right-hand rear door.

The lamp for the switch is connected to instrument lighting rheostat 16.

Fault-tracing hints
The fans will be operative when the ignition switch is in the drive position.

1. Check fuse 3 and check that the supply to it is live.
2. Check that the supply to terminal 7 of switch 246 is live.
3. Check the switch.
